Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-18

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains what information FreshCourses (“we”, “the site”) collects when you visit, save courses or contact us, and how that information is used. By using the site you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

Account data: if you create an account we store your email address, a display name you choose, language preference and a hashed password (never the password itself). You can export everything we hold or delete your account entirely from your account page at any time.

Technical data: server logs record your IP address (stored hashed where used for abuse protection), browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the service working. We also count anonymous usage events — for example that a course card was seen — without building advertising profiles.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery, and a cookie remembering your consent choice. See our Cookie Policy for the complete list and how to control cookies.

4. Advertising and third-party vendors

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info. Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), we request consent before non-essential cookies are set.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address to send periodic deal digests. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

6. Data retention and your rights

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Depending on your jurisdiction you have rights of access, correction, deletion and portability. Account holders can exercise export and deletion self-service; for anything else, contact us using the details on the Contact page.

7. Security and changes

Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, sessions are protected against fixation, and administrative access is limited and audited. If we change this policy materially we will update this page and revise the date below.

🍪 We use essential cookies to keep the site working, and we let our advertising partner Google measure ads. Your choice, always. Learn more
